FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE - The Navajo Housing Authority will be hosting a series of virtual public hearing via webinar regarding the Fiscal Year 2023 NAHASDA (Native American Housing Assistance and Self-Determination Act) Funding. The webinars are to be held March 7-11, 2022 from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

The intent of the public hearings are to promote awareness to local leadership on the purpose and use of the NAHASDA Indian Housing Block Grant allocated from the U. S. Department of Housing and Urban Development to Navajo Housing Authority, as the Tribally Designated Housing Entity, on behalf of the Navajo Nation. Presentations will cover the Indian Housing Plan history, eligible housing activities and identify housing needs. Participants will also have the opportunity to participate in an open dialogue as well as a question-and-answer session.
